Toodles has the Tools

If you are Playhouse Disney lovers, this:
is something you see at least once a day.

In our house, we are HUGE Clubhouse fans.
When my oldest turned 3, she had a Mickey Mouse ice cream cake.

When my second daughter turned two, she had a whole Mickey Mouse Party:

(Sorry about the lousy pictures.  This was long before I got my
"Mommy's Special Camera" as it is called around her.)

Well, #3, Cheyenne, turns 3 on Tuesday.  Guess what the theme is...
...did you guess?

Duh, duh, duh, duh!

So I went to Playhouse Disney's Celebration Center, looking for some quick invitations.  They were cute, but not quite what I was looking for.

I wanted to do something with Toodles.

So then I Googled Toodles.
Lots of disapointment (and averted gazes) later, I came to the conclusion that for a truly great Toodles, I would have to create my own.

So that's what I did.
I went to picnik, and started creating.
About 100 circles, 5 hours, 2 naptimes, and a dozen pulled hairs later,
I came up with this:

Okay, so it isn't exactly the same Toodles,
but Cheyenne knew what it was,
and that's all that counts, RIGHT??

For the invitations, I added a 3 to the middle,
like so:

If I was super computer savvy,
I would totally show you what the invites look like'
But, alas,
I am computer illiterate only know enough to kinda, sorta get by.

So I'll just tell you what they say, and you can use your imagination.

On the front (in cute Mickey Mouse font):

Toodles
has the
tools...

On the back:

For a very
Special
Birthday Party!
For:  Cheyenne
Date: Saturday, Sept. 25
Time: 2-4pm
Place: Home
Cake & Ice Cream
will be served

WooHoo!  Now I can check that off my list.
Now on to the outfit, decorations, and favors...
...stay tuned!

Oh yeah!  Feel free to use my Toodles.
If you do, I'd love to see pictures of what you do.

  5. Thanks so much for sharing your toodles! My son is going to be toodles for Halloween, so I'm going to iron-on your toodles to the front of a red shirt. He has the cute toodles ears and that's it! Thanks again for sharing!

  6. I love your Toodles - thanks for sharing. My daughter's 2nd bday party is this weekend, and I'm going to make Toodles party favor bags. Your Toodles is perfect to go on it. They will say something like "Here are your mouse-ke-tools! Thank you for coming."

  7. I was wondering how you made the 3 in the middle of the toodles icon. I want to do this for my son's 2nd Birthday. I am making him a shirt. I want to print what you made but with 2nd in the middle and then iron it on his tshirt!

  8. Carissa, I did it on Picnik. If you want to do the same, you'll have to hurry. They are shutting down picnik. Just got to www.picnik.com, upload the picture, and add the 2 in whatever font you like. It is free.

  9. I had to edit my comment...so I deleted the first one.
This is what I wanted to say: My granddaughter is obsessed with ALL things Minnie & Mickey Mouse. So, my daughter is using your adorable design for the punch bowl sign. The sign is "Toodles Mystery Mouskapunch" written right on Toodles' face. (it's a punch that's a family favorite.)
