Winter Jammies...Finally!

I know, I know.  It's the END of winter (thank goodness!)  But I'm still gonna share these with you because they are just too darn cute!

I made these for the girls for their traditional Christmas Eve Jammies.  But I  lost temporarily misplaced put the memory card (with all the Christmas pictures on it) in a safe place and just brought it out to the light of day. Ha!

I know.  Not the best picture.  None of them were.
It was late on Christmas Eve.
Daddy wasn't home.
And the kids weren't feelin' too hot.
So we are making due with what I have!
But the cute jammies and cute kids make up for the lousy poses and extreme flash!
Don't they?
Starting with the wee one
This super silly kid ended up with some super silly pants.
After a lot of hair pulling and trying to figure out why she looked like she'd been riding a horse for way too long,  I realized I had sewn the pants wrong, so the waist ended up as the legs.
I took a couple of deep breaths,
Then moved on to the shirt.
Cassy has to be covered from neck to toe to sleep comfortably, so I added some sleeves to a t-shirt, then embellished it with some "snowflakes" that I cut out of the scraps of fabric.
Chey likes her pants extra long, like her Mommy.
(She's shaking her booty. This kid loves to dance.  She doesn't get that from Mommy or Daddy!)
I cut Charly's snowflake out with the Cricut.
This was another hair-pulling experience.
It didn't cut all the way through, so I had to cut it out with scissors.
But I love how it turned out!
Poor thing got sick during the night and had to change her shirt.
She was devastated!
I had to stay up and wash her shirt so she could put it back on to open presents in the morning.
I can't believe how big these kids are getting!
Kota's snowflakes wrap around to the back.
She thinks it is pretty awesome.
After the girls opened their fun jammies, we read our new Christmas book
Then I told them it was time to scurry off to bed.
Cassy, as usual, didn't want to hear it!
But, eventually, it was just me, Daddy, and the cat, waiting up for Santa....maybe it was just me and Daddy.
I'm pretty sure the cat was snoring at this point!
And Christmas morning excitement was made even more fun by these fun Winter Wonderland Jammies!
