Ready for Kindergarten: Writing Her Name

I thought I was nervous when I got the list of things that Kota needed to know to start Kindergarten, and she new most of the stuff on the list!

Now Charly will be starting in a couple of months and she can't even spell or write her name.  I know that all kids learn at a different rate, but it is time to buckle down and get Charly going.

So I made this to get her started.
I uploaded a blank page to Picasa, chose a font that I thought would be the most like what she would see in my handwriting, so she wouldn't get confused.
I typed up her name, made the outside a color she would like, then made the center translucent.
Then I edited it in Picnik, adding arrows to show her what direction she should be going.
I printed it off, laminated it, and tomorrow  Charly will go to town with her dry erase marker.  Hopefully this gets her excited and give her a little push to get ready for Kindergarten.
